Deep Breath

Howdy all -
Still here, still kicking.  The past few weeks have been busy with work, life and all that fun stuff.  Brigid got moved in to her new house, The Bro bought a new house and moved in this past weekend, Gramps had his 88th birthday today (Happy Birthday Gramps!!), work has been hectic with lots to do and never enough time to do it.
Has sure been a lot of fun watching politics lately and I am sure happy that Governor Palin is McCain's VP.  I was one of those folks who was going to hold his nose and vote for McCain because I sure as hell didn't want Senator Obama in there applying his socialist views to this great country.  Number One issue in my book has been and will always be gun rights and I am fairly confident that Governor Palin is going to look out for us.  It sure is fun watching the Dems tie themselves up in knots over her!!
Well, I am having some flaky inernet connections this evening so I am going to shoot this one off to the blog, call it a night and settle down with "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle."  I am only 50 or so pages in to it and I tell you what, this is just an outstanding, fantastic book so far so I am going to take my time and enjoy every word.  Mom says it is possibly the best book she has ever read and that is really saying something.
Ok, I need to get hopping.  Take care and I hope that all is well in your world.
