Look at this, another posting!

I wandered over to Blackfive to check in and saw this post on the Valour-IT Project. Here is a little cut-and-paste from Blackfive on what the project is about:

Project Valour-IT, in memory of SFC William V. Ziegenfuss, provides voice-controlled software and laptop computers to wounded Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines recovering from hand and arm injuries or amputations at major military medical centers. Operating laptops by speaking into a microphone, our wounded heroes are able to send and receive messages from friends and loved ones, surf the 'Net, and communicate with buddies still in the field without having to press a key or move a mouse.

If you can, head on over to the Valour-IT site and make a small donation even if it is only a couple of bucks. What these folks are doing is fantastic.

Also, please take Blackfive's advice and read this outstanding post by John over at Castle Argghhh!! (I think I saw John on TV the other night on a great show about the history of artillery in warfare, BTW.)
Hot diggity damn, the first new episode of "Deadwood" was fricking great! Going to be lots of killing and cussing and twisty-turny plot-lines and capitalism versus socialism versus fascism and tormented souls and hoople-heads and Shakespearean tragedy and more!! It was even rather enjoyable to see ol' E.B. Farnum finally get the beating that he deserved. I sure hope they can incorporate Wyatt Earp into this season.

"Deadwood" makes the "Sopranos" look like "Eight is Enough". Good stuff.
