Howdy - just a quick check-in before I head out to work.

Tuesday was super-busy so it didn't really matter that we had Monday off! I think I was finally able to get some lunch at 3:30 or so and then I was able to get some real work done after everyone left at 5:30. One of our sites was getting officially launched today by Gregoire and I had a couple of last-minute tweaks to a database reference and a SQL statement that I needed to make. Also on the plate for my evening work was wrapping up the details on a couple of contracts.

So, today the sun is out and it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. It rained like cats and dogs yesterday but the few days of 80 degree-plus weather were fantastic. I need to get moving here, get in the shower, get a shirt ironed and head out the door - it is going to be a great day.

Heading out to the range to shoot a couple of rounds of trap and maybe some skeet. The weather has cooled off dramatically - at about 8 last night, the wind kicked up and it dropped from 85 to 70 in about 10 minutes! So, it will be nice at the range and later it won't be so damn hot when I mow the yard. There will be a lot of folks shooting today and there might even be a state shoot but I am not sure and it doesn't matter. There is nothing quite like the smell of gunpowder on the breeze - the smell of Freedom!

I hope everyone is enjoying the three day weekend - make sure your flags are flying and spend some time out in the yard cooking up a brat or a burger with your friends and family.

Jason, out.
