Just me, checking in.
Dad, Happy Birthday again! Glad you liked the cards and the Galco shoulder rig. One more present will be delivered hopefully in the next few weeks, hot off the presses. All I gotta say about it is "I'm your huckleberry."
Cool and rainy up here today. I feel sorry for folks living in 90 - 95 degree weather, we had a couple of weeks like that up here recently, but it is only supposed to be 65 or so tomorrow and it is so cool tonight that I could already see my breath when I got home a little while ago. Yes, I am surrounded on all sides by lefty moonbats, but I get the cool weather and I get to play with guns every day!
Not much else to report. Have been busy with work-related stuff but I did get to do a little shooting last weekend and it got dark enough to practice some low light shooting and a little no light shooting with my flashlight. I learned a long time ago to practice in all possible light conditions and shooting with a flashlight is one of the hardest things to do. Also, if you ever get a chance, try shooting some Speer Lawman Clean Fire ammo. Those loads are just fantastic and the empty shells are clean and bright with no powder residue. They looked just like they came out of the tumbler.
As far as reading material goes, I just finished another Clive Cussler novel and have a few others lined up. I am also working on Rand's The Fountainhead and a Stephen Hunter novel - Pale Horse Coming. Just found out a few days ago that he had a new one come out in the Earl Swagger series - Havana. I am going to have to track that one down now too! I have been hitting the cheap rack at the bookstore lately, so I will have to stay on the lookout. Also on the night stand is a management book and a history book on the air battles over Britain during WWII. Good stuff.
Alrighty, need to toss a few things in the laundry and hit the hay. Take care.
